The largest and the most attractive tourist resort in Budva - Slovenska Plaza, will most likely get a new boss. Interest in this complex that stretches alongside the largest beach in Budva has been expressed by the hotel group InterContinental.
Aleksandar Ticic, the secretary of the Privatization Council, points out that they still don't know the details of what this renowned group that manages elite hotels and other tourist facilities all around the world plans and offers.
He announced that the Montenegrin government planned to sell the hotel group Budvanska Rivijera in 2014. This group operates hotels Aleksandar in Budva, Petrovac-based Palas and Kastel lastva.
Budvanska Rivijera is one of the very few hotel companies in Montenegro that has not been privatized yet. So far, it has been achieving excellent business results.
