This year will be very significant for Porto Montenegro given that a luxury Regent hotel is going to be opened in the summer. This magnificent hotel covering about 20,000 square meters will make the Tivat-based resort even more attractive, and investors announce it will be a competitor to the famous Hilton hotel.
The operator of this facility is Regent Hotels&Resorts, an Asian global hotel group famous for glamurous and sophisticated hotels with impeccable service.
What is it that awaits the future guests of this hotel valued at about EUR 55 million?Regent Porto Montenegro is inspired by the centennial influence of Venice on the Adriatic Sea area - terracotta roof, facade modelled after those on Italian palaces, luxury spacious hall... It is designed by Reardon Smith Architect.

The lowest floor that will feature a parking lot and technical rooms is three meters below the sea surface. A spacious hall with the view of the sea and so-called "water garden" that is connected with a private island (where dinners and exclusive events will be organized) via a rocky path is situated on the ground floor which also accomodates a cafe, restaurant, so-called cigar lounge and library bar, as well as a recognizable Regent spa and fitness center.

Regent Porto Montenegro hotel will also comprise one indoor and one outdoor swimming pool, the latter of which will be situated on the very top of the building. The next five floors will feature rooms, suites and residences, whereas the top, sixth floor will house two penthouses. The hotel will have 10 elevators.

The management of the hotel group Regent Hotels&Resort has started recruiting staff. According to the plan, the hotel should employ about 150 people. All those interested can apply for several vacancies, but is is necessary to have certain work experience (depending on the position you apply for - one, three or five years)

People at Porto Montenegro point out that Regent will allow its guests to enjoy the ambiance that is luxurious but makes people feel at home. All rooms and suites are designed to offer a beautiful view, first-class materials and latest technologies.

Although, of course, the look of this hotel has not been completely revealed yet, eKapija can show you a piece of the future interior. Visit our photo gallery to peek into the rooms of Regent hotel!

By the way, the contractor is Kotor-based Yu Briv.

Large investments

As recently announced, a EUR 40 million investment will be made in Porto Montenegro in 2014 and 2015 alike.

The nautical and tourist complex Porto Montenegro has so far got five luxury villas - Teuta, Zeta, Ozana, Milena and Tara, whereas the construction of the sixth villa called Ksenija commenced this year. That should be the largest residential and business facility in this resort once completed.
