Ongoing implementation of a EUR 50 million investment in the territory of Sutomore should bring the Bar municipality the first five-star hotel. Soho Hotel And Resort on the foundations of former hotel Inex Zlatna Obala has already caught the attention of the Kempinski group, the oldest European five-star hotel chain that currently operates 80 superluxury hotels in 30 countries world wide, the daily Vijesti has reported.

Namely, a delegation of the Kempinski group led by Vice President Rupert Simonero left Montenegro for St. Moritz on Saturday (25 January 2014) after two-day negotiations with Soho Hotels representatives.

- The Kempinski group has expressed big interest in our project. The features of our future hotel meet all high requirements and standards of Kempinski - said Rade Vujacic, the executive director of the Russian-Montenegrin company Soho Hotels.

This company was established last year by Russian businessman Aleksandar Grigorijev, who bought Inex Zlatna Obala last summer for EUR 11.8 million.

As Vujacic announced last Friday at a ceremony in Bar, construction of Soho Hotel should commence in May so it could receive its first guests in June 2015.
