Copy linkNew factory of company "DonCafe" in Pećinci, worth 10m EUR, to be called "Ella Coffee Center"
Ofra Štraus, the Head of the Administrative Board of multinational company "Strauss - Elit", part of which is "DonCafe", visited yesterday (December 11, 2006) the bulding site of the new factory.
It is a "greenfield" investment worth 10m EUR, which should be put into operation at the end of year 2007. With the construction of the factory and processing of about 30,000 tons of coffee per year, "DonCafe" will become the regional center for production of coffee for Southeast Europe and it will be supplying other countries in the region in which that Israeli company operates.
- I am proud of results of "DonCafe" and this investment. The results realized in 2006 confirm that we are heading towards winning of the leading position in the Balkans, as well as that the ambitious plans for the next year will be successfully realized - said Štraus, revealing the board with the new name of the factory in Šimanovci, which will be called "Ella Coffee Center".
The building site of the factory of "DonCafe" was visited yesterday by the ambassadors of Israel and Brasil to Belgrade, numerous guests and representatives of the local self-government, which expects new investments into Municipality of Pećinci in amount of about 160m EUR in the following period.
