Budva has Splendid Hotel, but Ulcinj too will soon get a luxury hotel on Suka Peninsula, whose look and amenities will match those of the hotel in Becici.
The future five-star hotel will most probably operate under the name of Star of Montenegro, which is also the name of the Podgorica-based company that will run this hotel. About EUR 40 million will be invested in its construction.
Djordje Nedeljkovic, an architect from Art Projekt from Belgrade who drew designs for the future hotel, says to eKapija that the hotel will be finished in 2015 if the works commence on time.
The hotel will occupy a surface area of about 25,000 square meters.
– Guests will be able to choose between 70 rooms, 30 suites and three villas with a separate access. The total number of beds at the hotel is 250 - says Nedeljkovic.
Tourists will also have a congress center, outlets and a casino at their disposal.
There will also be an international restaurant, tavern and a hotel club for guests, while wellness lovers will be able to enjoy a 2,000 square meter spa center featuring various saunas.
Nedeljkovic says that the hotel is also specific because a green building concept has been completely applied to its designs.
Aside from improving the offer for tourists on the Montenegrin coast, the new hotel will also bring progress to the municipality of Ulcinj.
This hotel will employ between 80 and 100 people with most of them coming from Ulcinj.
The Star of Montenegro company is the owner of the luxury hotel Splendid in Becici.
