Arabs building complex at Pasha's Fountain at full speed - Construction of sports arena, indoor and outdoor swimming pools, spa center and casino in progress

The company Emirates Power seriously got down to business in August 2010 to turn a neglected picnic grounds in the vicinity of Leskovac into a tourist, sports and fun center for local and foreign tourists, athletes and businessmen. After opening a hotel at the Pasha's Fountain site in June 2012, Arab investors continued to finance the construction of a tourist and sports complex on an area spanning 86 hectares. The second phase of this project, which is currently underway, will see the completion of a sports and recreation center featuring numerous facilities by June 2013.

Pasha's Fountain hotel is nested in a beautiful ambiance of an oak wood, only ten kilometers away from Leskovac. It spans over 17,000 square meters and comprises 65 accommodation units, multimedia, conference and banquet rooms, meeting hall, aperitif bar, cafe club and a modernly furnished restaurant.

- Our hotel offers 6 single rooms, 42 double rooms, 4 family rooms, 6 junior suites, 6 lux suites, as well as rooms for people with special needs. It is intended for all those who need a rest, peace and quiet, a place for family fun, and it can also serve as a training camp for athletes. Our first guests were two football teams, followed by a group of foreign tourists whose stay in our hotel was organized by the Belgrade Institute of Archeology. We've also received a small group of tourists from European countries - Svetlana Cvetkova, manager of Pasha's Fountain hotel, says in a talk with eKapija.

The hotel Pasha's Fountain is also meant to host congresses, symposiums, seminars, expert meetings and all kinds of banquets. It comprises multimedia, conference and banquet rooms. The conference room is designed as a theater with 400 seats, while there is also a small meeting hall with 40 seats. The banquet room is suitable for celebrations, parties and other ceremonies, and it can accommodate up to 300 guests.

- There is also a 250-seat restaurant for hotel guests, where they can enjoy both national and foreign dishes.

The complex also includes two natural grass football pitches with stands that can hold 700 spectators.

Sports and recreation center opens soon

As one of the aims of investors is to attract as many sports teams from Arab and surrounding countries as possible to the south of Serbia, construction of a sports and recreation center is also underway.

- The second phase of the project will include the construction of a sports arena, indoor Olympic pool, outdoor swimming pool and a big gym within the hotel. Construction of first facilities should be completed in early March 2013, while the complete second phase of the complex should be finished by June – says the hotel manager.

Our interlocutor points out that this phase will also see the construction of a spa center and a casino.

- The complex will comprise a large spa center featuring sauna, steam baths, massage rooms, face and body care center, that is, everything that a contemporary center of that kind can offer. We will also open a medical center with plastic surgery ward, which will be run by one of the plastic surgery clinics from Serbia.

Luxury hotel and horse farm in the pipeline

The plan for the third phase of construction, which should probably start in autumn 2013, is to build a five-star hotel, shooting range and a horse farm.

The company Energosistem Coguric is entrusted with the design and construction of this complex.

As it was announced, once completed, the tourist and sports center at Pasha's Fountain will accommodate up to 1,000 visitors per day.
