Global brands in Jagodina in 2013 - Construction of EUR 15 million VIVO shopping PARK kicks off

After an aqua park, zoo and a vax museum, Jagodina will soon get a shopping and entertainment place for the whole family. In the most beautiful part of that city in the Pomoravlje District, EUR 15 million worth of VIVO shopping PARK will be opened in March 2013, within the sports and tourist complex Potok-Djurdjevo Brdo.

A 10,000 sqm facility, which will be situated on a land lot spanning 25,000 sqm, will comprise 33 retail stores and 360 parking places.

The shopping center in Jagodina will offer a broad assortment of products of the world's top brands. Buyers will be able to find a wide range of clothing, footwear, baby gear, apparel and toys for kids, sports articles, furniture, household supplies and appliances, high-technology and IT equipment, cosmetics and many more. An inevitable part of the shopping center will definitely be a supermarket of the largest market chain in Serbia and the region, exchange office, ATMs, newsstand, bookstore, pastry shop, restaurant, coffee shop, open-air restaurant, movie theater, playground for kids and a skating rink during the winter.

VIVO shopping PARK is expected to annually attract about four million buyers.

Investors announce VIVO shopping PARK as the biggest project in Jagodina in the last two decades and one of the largest domestic investments in central Serbia. A total of EUR 15 million will be invested in this project, which will create 400 new jobs.

VIVO shopping PARK is a completely domestic investment by the namesake company, whose owners are MA Pavle Andric (holding a 90-percent stake) and Dejan Stanarcevic (10 percent), through the company NPA Smart Group.

The main facility and its accompanying units are integrated into a unique architectural entity, which is characterized by functionality, easy availability and visibility, as well as by the compliance with all the strictest and latest construction standards in terms of quality of installed equipment and materials used, energy efficiency, ecology, safety and fire protection.

Preparations are now underway for fencing the construction site and installing the building site infrastructure. The plan is to completely finish the retail park by end-March 2013. About thousand workers, mainly from domestic construction companies, will be engaged in the construction, either directly or indirectly.

Office space lease is entrusted to companies EFG Property Services and Danos Group, while the services of project management, coordination and supervision will be rendered by the company CRE International.

VIVO Living PARK

Construction of VIVO living PARK in the vicinity of the shopping center is also in the pipeline. This residential complex will be a unique architectural and functional entity featuring a parking lot, pedestrian trails, yard and green areas within the complex.

The housing complex VIVO living PARK will consist of three buildings (cellar+3 floors+attic) spanning a total of 7,500 square meters and comprising 109 housing units, parking lot for 105 cars and an organized yard within the complex.

The idea of investors is to provide Jagodina with a functional residential block that will represent a favorite place for living thanks to its exceptional location, quality of construction and accompanying facilities. Construction of residential units starts July 2012, whereas the first building is planned to be finished in April 2013.
