Sutanovac and Vidic finance construction project near Saint Sava Temple - Defense Minister invests in elite part of Belgrade

Defense Minister and DS Vice President Dragan Sutanovac, his wife Marija, football player Nemanja Vidic, Zarko Zecevic's daughter Mia and another six investors are financing the construction of a 3,700-square-meter residential and business facility in downtown Belgrade.

The allegations published by the web portal Pistaljka.rs have been confirmed for Blic by Sutanovac himself, who said he was participating in the construction of a building at 20 Skerliceva Street, in the vicinity of Saint Sava Temple and the National Library of Serbia.

The information panel at the building site reads that the building should be finished in mid-2013. The work commenced March 9th. Once completed, the facility spanning about 3,700 square meters should comprise nine apartments, an outlet and 24 garages.

An associate to Pistaljka has come in possession of a document that shows that in addition to Marija and Dragan Sutanovac, the financiers of the magnificent building in Vracar are also: Mia Zecevic (daughter of former Secretary General of FC Partizan Zarko Zecevic), Gordan Petric (ex football player and vice president of FC Partizan), Nemanja Vidic (a Manchester United player), Dragan Petric, Dragisa Vujosevic, Zoran Jankovic, Nenad Djordjevic and the offshore company Vilab Pharm LTD from Limasol, Cyprus.

The building permit was first issued to Milos Rutovic and the construction company Tresnja d.o.o., but then some new investors emerged, including the minister and his wife, in favor of whom the city authorities changed the permit issued earlier.

The contractor is Hytegra, while the design is done ABA Consult.
