City of Nis seeks 900-square-meter office for Magistrates Court and Cadastre

(Nis)

City of Nis is searching for a 900-square-meter office space in the city center to move the Magistrates Court and the Cadastre to.

According to an ad published on the website of the City, this office space must be situated in the city core, so-called "central zone", which is the area between streets Obrenoviceva and Dusanova and between streets Svetozara Markovica and Nade Tomic, including Kopitareva Street (Kazandzijsko Sokace), while shopping centers Kalca and Gorca are excluded from consideration.

The ad also reads that suitable office space will be rented for the period of five years and that all those interested have 8 days to submit documentation.

As Head of the City Property Administration Ljubisa Janic confirms to Juzne Vesti daily, the Magistrates Court and part of the Cadastre should be moved to that space.

However, attention is drawn by the fact that a space for such purpose is sought in the city core where mainly stores and catering facilities are situated and rent is the highest.

Janic says that the City's intention was to keep the institutions moving from the building of the Municipality in the city center.

- What matters the most to us are conditions, as well as price. If we are not satisfied, we will publish a new ad with changed terms - says Janic.

In that case, as he explains, the zone in which suitable office space is sought will probably be expanded.
