Eight locations in Nis on auction block

At yesterday's session of the City Council of Nis, the Decision on the approval of the Draft Decision on the announcement of an ad for the sale of public-owned undeveloped building land at a public auction was made unanimously .

A total of eight locations will go on auction block. The location in Mokranjceva street is intended for a high-density residential development. In order to enable the construction of facilities near the factory Vulkan, a building land intended for operations, production, storing and trade activities will go on auction block. The location in Jurija Gagarina street, the settlement of Pasi Poljana, is planned to host residential buildings, whereas the location in Jastrebacka street, the settlement of Brzi Brod, is also intended for the construction of family residences.

A city building land in the work zone Sever, which will also go on auction block, is planned to be used for the construction of production and storage facilities. Another lot in that work zone, intended for the construction of a business and shopping complex, will be offered for sale at that auction as well.

A city building land in Svetog Cara Konstantina street will go on auction block, and the plan is to build warehouses and service shops on that lot. Another city building land, in the work zone Donje Medjurovo, will be offered to investors to have a business-production-shopping complex built on it.

The period for bringing all these locations to their intended purpose is set at three years.

According to the words of Mayor Milos Simonovic, the arrival of two new big investors can be enabled in this way.

- Every implemented investment is a chance to attract new investors - said Mayor Simonovic.
