Porto Montenegro opens new residential, retail and recreational facilities at Tivat-based marina on July 3

Porto Montenegro will present on Sunday, July 3, new residential, retail and recreational facilities at the marina in Tivat. A step forward in the construction of that nautical village was taken with the completion of two new residential complexes - Zeta and Ozana, which together comprise a total of 45 luxury housing units. The plans for these complexes were drawn by the London architectural bureau ReardonSmith, the interiors were designed by famous designer Tin Zervudachi, while the author of the landscape architecture is Martin Lane Fox.

Also, over 20 new stores will be opened in Porto Montenegro at the end of the week by some of the most popular European fashion brands, including the wine and delicatessen store One Gourmet, Al Posto Giusto pizzeria, Compositeworks nautical store, F&B, City Bookstore, ProHouse furniture store, Pizana art gallery, Pura Vida Spa beauty and spa parlor, and others.

Porto Montenegro will at a cocktail party also present the recently finished 65-meter outdoor swimming pool Lido Mar, designed by acknowledged architect Richard Hywel Evans from London. There is also the 8-meter sculpture "8 possibilities", a work by artist Jauma Plenso from Spain, situated by the pool.

On the same occasion, Porto Montenegro will present the Collection of Maritime Heritage to honor the rich maritime tradition of this area and the glorious history of the repair institute Savo Kovacevic. This museum collection will be kept in the old Austro-Hungarian sawmill, an authentic facility built in early 20th century, which is preserved and reconstructed to host that collection.

The guests at the opening ceremony will be addressed by the main investor in Porto Montenegro project, Peter Monk, and Prime Minister of Montenegro Igor Luksic.

With the new residential, retail and recreational facilities, 185 moorings, the status of an international port, duty free fuel, and the complete service for supplying yachts with various necessities, Porto Montenegro continues to attract captains, crews and owners of yachts to Tivat, transforming that town into one of the leading yachting destinations at the Adriatic Sea.
