Seventh building opened in "Airport City" – commencement of construction of new technical block announced

The seventh out of total of 14 buildings that should be built in business park "Airport City" prior to year 2014 was formally opened last night (March 25, 2009). Company CEE, which runs this complex, has announced the commencement of construction of new technical facility.

The newly opened business building in "Airport City" was built in record time. The ten-storey facility with total of 13,200 square meters of office space was finished in only ten months.

The building is about 45 meters high, and it is equipped with four heating and cooling systems. The method of construction was specific as well. Simultaneous construction of façade, interior, greenery and about 200 parking places has been tried for the first time in Serbia.

Company CEE is currently negotiating with future renters, and the first contracts are expected to be signed within the next few days. People in "Airport City" still do not want to reveal any names.

This business complex was built in the location of the deserted old airport. About 72,000 out of projected 186,000 square meters have already been built. “Airport City” should also get a technical building, four residential facilities and two towers – one will be a business building, while a hotel should be opened in the other.
