Building permit in maximum 160 days

The Assistant to the Minister of Spatial Planning of Serbia, Nebojša Janjić, said that the new law on organization of space would shorten the procedure for granting of building permits from current 220 to maximum 160 days.

- The aim of this new law on organization of space, building land and construction is to introduce order in that area on the whole territory of Serbia - he said in the Regional Chamber of Commerce in Subotica.

Janjić said that local self-governments should make their own plans for organization of space and construction.

- Nothing can be built if it is not anticipated by the documents of the local self-government - he pointed out.
