The workers of
Tehnogradnja Krusevac are stepping up the works on the construction of the
Lidl supermarket in Jagodina so that it could be completed by September 1. Nearly simultaneously, works are ongoing on the facility, the development of the parking lot and the water and sewer system.
After a year's break, Germany's Lidl
continued the construction of the supermarket in Jagodina in March.
The Town of Jagodina provided full infrastructure on an area of 0.4 hectares, near the Stari Juhor location, next to the Belgrade – Nis railway on Corridor 10, the Town Administration said.
The supermarket will have a large parking lot with an entrance from Kneza Milete Street, and the opening is expected to take place in 2018, the Town Administration points out.
The employment of more than 40 workers is planned in Lidl in Jagodina.
Lidl is also building a supermarket of 2,550 square meters in Paracin, around 20 kilometers away from Jagodina.
