Great success of "Delta City" project - five companies from Serbia at "MAPIC 2008" in Cannes

At this year's commercial real estate trade fair "MAPIC 2008" in Cannes, which ends today (November 21, 2008), five exhibitors from Serbia offered their projects to the retail space market.

The exhibitors from Serbia that participate in this expo are: "YU Kapital", "Delta Real Estate", "Delta Sport", "GTC Srbija" and "Plaza centers". This trade fair has also been visited by the number of professionals from Serbia whose consulting services help development of such spaces.

"Delta Real Estate", with its project "Delta City", is shortlisted for the award in the category of mid-sized shopping malls by GLA categorization.

International Shopping Centre Association (ISCS) will organize the visit of the jury to all nominated finalists in February 2009, while the winners, the second-ranked and the third-ranked projects in six nominated categories will be announced in Barcelona, between April 22 and 24.

That is a great success for "Delta Real Estate" when having in mind very strong competition with nominated projects from all around EUrope, especially from the Western Europe, Poland and Turkey.

Despite the financial crisis, organizer "Reed MIDEM" announced that the last year's results concerning the size of rented space, number of exhibitors and visitors had been repeated.
