The Austrian company
Immofinanz was issued the building permit for the construction of the
Stop Shop retail park in Pozarevac on Friday, September 29, 2017. This will be the fifth Stop Shop in Serbia, and its opening is expected to take place in April 2018, it was published on the official website of the town of Pozarevac.
Branimir Bojic, representative of the Austrian company, pointed out that the cooperation with the town authorities in acquiring the necessary permits and carrying out the accompanying administrative tasks had been very good.
– We have recognized Pozarevac, as the administrative center of the Branicevo District, as a place of great potential. The construction should begin this month, and the opening of the first phase of our park should take place as soon as April. I am glad that the citizens of Pozarevac will soon be able to get to recognizable brands tied to our retail parks more easily – Bojic said.
Mayor of Pozarevac Bane Spasovic pointed out that this was the first direct investment in the town in many years.
The first phase of the Stop Shop retail park entails the construction of around 7,000 m2 and jobs for around 300 workers, the website says.
