IN KRAGUJEVAC 2.000 APARTMENTS MORE SOLD IN THE FIRST HALF OF 2008 THAN IN THE YEAR 2007.

Although the price of the real estate property raised in Kragujevac, the trade increased in the first six months of the year when 2.000 apartments more have been sold, than in the whole last year.

-Last year we have ratified in the Municipal Court in Kragujevac 15.814 real estate contracts, and in the first six months of this year 17.552- said the PR of the Court Ms. Ivana Racic.

In the Real Estate Agency "Brkovic" they said that the reasons of this increase in the real estate market is caused by the population explosion, inflow from other regions of Serbia, entering of the foreign capital, the announcement that Italian company "Fiat" will invest in "Zastava" and the housing loans provided by the numerous banks.

As the market need is high, the price per sqm of the apartment in the old building became very close to the price in the new objects. So, the price per sqm in the old building in the center of the city is between 950 and 1.000 euros, almost the same as in the new objects (with VAT included it is in between 1.200- 1.300 euros). On the other locations, out of the center of the city, the price are lower approx for 100 to 200 euros.

The apartments in the center of the city that have less sqm are more expensive, because Kragujevac is the University city, and there is a lack of this kind of allotment, so the price of these smaller apartments in the city in the old houses is approx 1.100 euros per sqm.
