Immo
Industry Group (
IIG) and
Colliers International Serbia have
announced Serbia’s first logistics and industrial park.
85,000 m2 of logistics and industrial facilities will be
constructed on a 17 Ha site on the E-75 highway, next to Stara Pazova. The
location makes it a prime site for logistics activities. The Land, Logistics and
Industrial Department of
Colliers International Serbia concluded the land
deal, the first such for Colliers in Serbia.
Immo Industry Group develops tailor-made industrial real estate in
Europe, as a standalone project or in an industrial park and takes full
responsibility from the design to the handover of an operational building.
Bratislav Lacmanovic,
representative of
IIG in Serbia, said: “IIG Industrial Park Belgrade is
ideal for time-sensitive clients who insist on a high-quality cost-optimised
development at a strategic location in Serbia. Each of our developments start
from our client’s requirements, to which we apply our wide experience in
engineering, logistics and industrial process consulting, financing, contracting
and facility management. The end result for our client is a tailor-made, high
standards facility with a reduced surface area and lower investment and
operational costs, as many of the park’s costs are spread over all of its
tenants. IIG has 18 industrial parks, mainly in Central and Eastern Europe,
Russia and the CIS, and we are convinced that IIG’s unique, tailor-made real
estate approach will be attractive to companies who want to expand to
Serbia.”
Colliers International Serbia
established its Land, Logistics & Industrial department nearly a year ago.
Ivan Simic, real estate consultant with
Colliers International,
was the selling agent responsible for making this deal happen. He said, "Since
Colliers is providing the full spectrum of real estate services, including legal
advisory, building consultancy and marketing, we were able to custom design a
team of experts who were engaged in making this deal happen. This
definitely makes us competitive in the Serbian market and that is something
foreign investor appreciate."
Jovica Jakovac, Managing Director of
Colliers International Serbia, concluded, “We are very proud to be
involved with the first logistics and industrial park in Serbia. We think
Serbia’s strategic location, highly-trained workforce, good logistics
infrastructure and advantageous trade arrangements with countries like Russia
means that it has a very bright future in industrial development.”
