Construction of the first condominium in Vozdovac starts - Cornerstone laid for Vozdove kapije project

Construction of the Vozdove kapije complex in Belgrade has started today with cornerstone laying ceremony with the attendance of representatives of the City of Belgrade, City Municipality Vozdovac and the Embassy of Israel.

This is the first condominium in Vozdovac spanning 70,000 square meter. It comprises over 700 residential units with an underground parking space, a retail area on the first floor intended for numerous services, an enclosed private park which spans 7,000 square meters with corresponding content for all age categories.

The charter, which was signed by all senior representatives that made the start of the construction of the residential and business complex possible and contributed to it, was ceremoniously laid into the pre-prepared foundation, and filling it with first shovels of concrete marked the start of the construction.

Partner Manager of the Vozdove kapije project Gilly Dekel thanked the attending representatives of local administration and the city of Belgrade and stated: “The Voždove kapije project, which is worth EUR 170 million, represents a continuation of investments of the Israeli company Shikun & Binui Group into the Serbian market, after the successful project Central Garden.

- Thanks to good cooperation with representatives of the City of Belgrade and Government of Serbia, we succeeded in becoming real estate market leaders which is why I am especially proud of - Dekel outlined.

Ambassador of Israel H.E. Alona Fisher highlighted she was very proud to see how fast the appearance of Belgrade was changing thanks to all the projects of Israeli investors who are investing into our market.
- I am certain that this project would be successful like the previous project of the Israeli company Shikun & Binui Group and I believe that the construction of the Voždove kapije condominium will have a positive influence on the development of the real estate market in Belgrade. The Embassy of Israel will continue to actively support the work of Israeli companies in Serbia with the aim to build as strong as possible business and economic relations and continue our unbreakable friendship.

Exclusive sale of apartments was entrusted to the company CBRE Srbija, the leading real estate consulting company in Serbia.

Complex will be built in a few stages and according to Mina Kalezic from CBRE Srbija, majority of flats planned for construction in the first stage has already been booked.

- Out of129 flats which will be built in the first stage, 105 was booked. This success and big interest are the result of good planning and anticipating of what buyers at this location expect. The interested buyers can have a look at a test flat and in this construction stage, future owners can, with our architects, change planned structure and create environment in line with their taste - Mina Kalezic explained.
