Kopernikus Systems buys Belgrade hotel Prag

Kopernikus Systems has bought 32.6% of the Belgrade hotel Prag's stock, previously owned by the state, at the price of EUR 907,200 at an auction, as reported by the Ministry of Economy of Serbia. The starting price at the auction, in which three bidders took part, was EUR 907,156.

At the same time, the hotel's shares were the most traded at the Belgrade Stock Exchange on Monday, March 13, when 64% of the company's ownership was traded. According to the data by the Central Securities Depository, 64.32% of the hotel's shares are already registered as ownership of Kopernikus Systems.

The remaining stock is owned by small shareholders.

Hotel Prag's previous majority owner was the Novi Sad-based company IB Investment, which used to own 63.9% of the stock.

According to the Business Registers Agency, Kopernikus Systems Novi Beograd was founded on December 1, 2016 and is 100% owned by Kopernikus Corporation B.V. Holandija.
