If it wins on the tender, Greek company "Lampsa" is willing to invest about 100m EUR in "Genex" complex in Belgrade. According to Nikos Dandalos, the Executive Manager of the company, "Lampsa" has ambitious plans, especially concerning hotel "Continental"
- We cooperate with world-famous hotel chains and we plan to make "Continental" part of "Sheraton" hotel chain – said Dandalos, reminding that it is a famous hotel chain with about 600 different hotels in 60 countries.
According to the plan, renovation of "Continental" would last for 2 years and about 10m EUR would be invested in its rehabilitation.
This company is also interested in "Genex" facilities on Kopaonik, but Dandalos could not specify if they would compete for both complexes at the same time or the complex on Kopaonik would be a variant in case "Lampsa" failed to buy "Genex" property in Belgrade.
He did not answer the question about the maximum price "Lampsa" is willing to offer, but he confirmed that the combination of the selling price (85m EUR) and investments would have influence on further projections.
- I can only say that the amounts between 600 and 700m EUR, mentioned by the media, are not realistic – said he.
