Slovenian "Rašica Point" rented land on Zlatibor mountain for 1.5m EUR - construction of luxurious hotel in the pipeline

Representatives of Town hall of Čajetina made the decision on November 16 that 57 ares of land between Sports Hall on Zlatibor and gas station "Jugopetrol" be let to Slovenian company "Rašica Point" from Ljubljana on 99 years for total of 109,634,818 RSD, that is, 1.5m EUR.

A year ago, company "Rašica Point" became the owner of big sports hall on Zlatibor. On the land it rented, in the vicinity of the sports hall, it plans to have luxurious four-star hotel built.

- We are thankful to Municipality of Čajetina for helping us in this matter. We bought sports hall on Zlatibor, but there are only 36 rooms with about 60 beds within the hall, which is not enough. We plan to have a hotel of 20,000 square meters, with about 80 rooms, wellness center, indoor swimming pool, conference hall with about 350 seats and other contents, built on the land we rented - says Boštjan Kreft, representative of company "Rašica Point", Manager of Sports Hall on Zlatibor mountain.

According to his words, "Rašica Point" plans that the construction of hotel intended mainly for sports teams starts in May 2008. The hotel should be finished in about year and half.

According to the adopted decision, obligation of Slovenians is to pay the rental fee in six monthly installments within next six months, while the one-time payment brings 10% discount.
