Within next five years, company "Delta Holding" will invest 2.5-3 billion EUR in construction of real estates where retailing facilities of that company will be situated. The development plan anticipates construction of 15 shopping malls in all bigger cities in the region - said Dejan
Racić, General Manager of "Delta Nekretnine", and announced opening of shopping mall "Delta City" in New Belgrade on November 1st.
He reminded that it was investment worth 74m EUR. The shopping mall, of which surface is 85,000 square meters, will encompass hypermarket "Maxi" and 125 outlets with about 40 world brands.
The new facility will employ 1,500 workers. Racić has also announced that the first shopping mall outside Serbia will be built in Podgorica prior to year 2008, which will be followed by construction of similar facilities in Bosnia and Herzegovina and Macedonia. "Delta holding" plans to have another two shopping malls built in Belgrade prior to year 2011.
