"Movie Piazza” in Sremska Street in Belgrade ?

The Assistant to the Mayor of Belgrade, Gorica Mojović, announced that the idea about construction of the movie piazza in Sremska Street in Belgrade would be realized soon. Preparation for design of plan for detailed regulation of this zone is currently underway, and this idea was initiated by about 100 film workers. They suggested construction of the piazza on the location of former outdoor trade center in Sremska Street.

By the way, the first movie projection in Belgrade took place on June 6, 1896, in café "Zlatni krst" ("Dušanov grad" until recently).
