Vozdovac becomes large building site - IKEA and Lidl are coming, Chinese investor to build Vila Banjica neighborhood...

Presenting the results achieved so far by the local authorities on Friday (30 January 2015), Savic also commented on ongoing and future projects in various fields.

- Children and their safety are the most important to us, which is why we`ve had video surveillance system set up in all 16 primary schools and toilets reconstructed in 12 of them, and we have also opened a new school in Stepa Stepanovic neighborhood and Ciciban kindergarten - the website of Vozdovac City Borough cited Savic as saying.

Savic reminds that a large number of streets are paved and got new pavements, bus stops, gangways and semaphores. Kumodraz 1 neighborhood has got a new clinic, a new health center is under construction in Kumodraz 2, while the construction of a health center in Jajinci is to start very soon.

- Construction of the regional health center in Jajinci, on a surface area of over 700 square meters, will commence this spring - said Savic.

He has also announced that a Chinese investor will finance the construction of the Vila Banjica housing project.

- Chang Sing Mo will invest in Jajinci, in Rasadnik neighborhood, in the construction of housing block with a school, kindergarten, church, squares and other facilities. The housing block named Vila Banjica will cover an area of about 260,000 square meters - Savic announced.

IKEA will soon launch its EUR 65 million project in Vozdovac, while Lidl plans to open a retail facility at Trosarina, which is why the gas station will be relocated, Studio B reports. B".

The officials of this borough say that they have managed to save RSD 27 million, announcing that they will continue to behave responsibly towards the citizens and the budget in the following period.
