The Serbian Philanthropic Forum and the B92 Fund have an opportunity to procure, import and deliver to health institutions 100 high quality patient monitors for monitoring life functions in a very short amount of time. In order to secure this urgent delivery, it is necessary for over RSD 26 million to be collected as soon as possible. The price of a monitor is RSD 305,000 with VAT and a 10% discount on this quantity, which the producer has already approved, B92 Fund announces.

– An anonymous donor has contacted us. They have provided funds for the purchase of 14 monitors. I invite all the companies and individuals that can help collect the remaining RSD 26,230,000 to do so, in order to purchase these monitors which are available to us. According to health institutions, the need for these monitors peaks during pandemics, but they are also needed in regular circumstances – said Veran Matic, the executive director of the Serbian Philanthropic Forum.

The Serbian Philanthropic Forum and the B92 Fund say that it is getting more difficult to get the necessary equipment due to the great global demand and that this opportunity therefore shouldn't be missed. The monitors could reach Serbia in ten days at the most, and in the shortest amount of time, they could be in the health institutions in line with the priority defined by the Ministry of Health's crisis group.

Each patient monitor complements the respiratory ventilators used on those with severe symptoms, providing the doctors and the medical staff with reliable information based on which they can reach the best decision possible at any given moment. The equipment is produced by Germany's Draeger, which has been operating in our market for over 100 years and which has professional local support when it comes to maintenance, training and spare parts.

– The company has also developed very good relations with the B92 Fund during the Battle for Babies campaign, when it delivered over 200 incubators to health centers throughout Serbia in record time. These incubators are still used to save the lives of prematurely born babies – the announcement says.
