Members of the Government of Serbia have reached the decision to provide Japan with a one-off aid in the amount of EUR 500,000 to address the enormous material damage caused by the floods.

As Japan has provided Serbia with help since the floods of 2014, first with EUR 5 million from the Japanese government and over than EUR 2 million from the citizens, as well as various donations that followed, the Government of Serbia has decided to contribute, within its means, to the amelioration of the damage suffered by the people of a friendly country, says the official website of the Government of Serbia.
