Milan Petrovic, president of SAM - Biography
On Tuesday night, at the eighth Annual Assembly of the Serbian Association of Managers (SAM), Milan Petrovic was appointed as its president for the next two years.
During 19 years of work experience in the consumer goods industry and retail trade in the region of Southeast Europe, Switzerland and eastern Europe, he's been in all positions within an organization - from a sales representative, sales manager, sales and marketing director to the general manager and the director of a holding company.
Throughout his career, he worked with large brands - Heineken, Pepsi, Ballantine’s, Doncafe, and Lavazza. During this time, Milan faced many challenges and had the opportunity to learn from great leaders as well as to use his leadership and managerial skills and knowledge as a member of brilliant teams.
In January 2014, Milan began his private career as an entrepreneur and partner to several companies operating in the automotive and software industries, representing companies from Europe (CoTW, DEKRA Automotive) and the USA (Demand Solutions).
He is also a trainer and mentor to several companies operating in the consumer goods industry.
Since 2010, Milan Petrovic is a licensed trainer for the Dale Carnegie Training program. This year he also became the mentor for the Creative Mentorship program supported by the Embassy of Sweden to Serbia.
