Agreement on Donation for Fourth Section of Trans-Balkans Corridor for Power Transfer Signed

A donation agreement worth EUR 8.5 million for the realization of the fourth section of the Trans-Balkans Corridor for the transfer of electrical energy was signed today, January 23, at the Government of Serbia.

The director of Elektromreze Srbije (EMS), Jelena Matejic, said that the project was the most valuable one realized by the company up till then.

She reminded that the second section of the project had been completed in 2022 and that the realization of the third section should start from the first quarter of 2024.

– Since 2011, we have realized an investment worth EUR 380 million. In the next 10 years, we will invest EUR 900 million in the transfer system of Serbia – she said.
