On that occasion, Mihajlovic said that the ministry had prepared four important laws in this sector in order to create a favorable business environment and launch new investments.

She said that a tender for the contractor for the construction of the interconnection between Serbia and Bulgaria would open not long after and noted that the construction of gas connections with Croatia and Romania and new gas power plants in Serbia was considered as well.

– We are open to cooperation in the fields of renewable energy sources, solar panels and biomass as well – Mihajlovic said.
