A complex of outdoor and indoor pools, with regular and thermal water, aquapark and wellness center, will be built on the coast of Lake Palic, near the Muski Strand location, GradSubotica portal reports.

As announced by Mayor Bogdan Laban, the public procurement for the first phase, worth RSD 320 million, entailing construction and mechanical works, will be placed by the end of the month.

Next year, another RSD 600 million of common funds of the City, the Province of Vojvodina and the Republic of Serbia will be set aside, and the aim is for the new complex to be comparable to similar facilities in the neighboring Hungary.

– We will be proud of our wellness center, which will be comparable, if not even better, than Morahalom. This will mean a larger number of tourists, and we will work on having them stay at Palic not just for a day or to, but to prolong their stay by at least another day. This will mean a lot to the City of Subotica and our further development – Laban said.
