"Cuprom" asks for permission to concentrate capital in Serbia
Romanian company "Cuprom", which bought Mining Smelter Basin (RTB) "Bor", has submitted the request for issuing of permit for realization of concentration to the Commission for Protection of Competition.
Obtaining of the aforementioned permit from the Commission is one of the conditions for putting in effect the Contract on sale of RTB "Bor", because it is one of the binding clauses from that document.
According to the Law on protection of competition, the Commission can reject the request or allow concentration if it determines that it can not cause prevention, limiting or disturbance of competition through strengthening of dominant position on the market.
