Mank Centre for international studies at the University in Toronto will organize the annual conference of investors on March 27 and 28, 2007, in the Belgrade hotel "Hyatt Regency". The subject of the conference will be "Business opportunities for Canadian investors on territory of Western Balkans".
On that occasion, according to the announcements, the leading investors from the region will be able to offer their experiences to the other participants, while the participants in panel discussion from Canada, European countries and companies from the territory of Balkans will take into consideration the possibilities of investments in various sectors of economy, such as agriculture and production of food, real estates and tourism, power supply and mining, telecommunications and information technology, banking and finances.
It is expected that more than 70 business leaders from the region and more than 20 of them from Canada will take part in the Conference. The participation has already been confirmed by "Dundee Precious Metals", "Nortel", "Gabric Resources", "Bankers Petroleum", "TriGranit Development Corporation", "Rand Edgar Investment Corporation", "PriceWaterhouseCoopers", "Export Development Canada" and European Bank for Reconstruction and Development.
The organizers of the meeting, beside Mank Centre, are: company "Dundee Precious Metals", the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Trade of Canada and the Embassy of Canada to Belgrade.
