“Victoria Group” to deliver first quantities of bio-diesel in May

- Oil factory "Victoria oil" will start production of ecological fuel bio-diesel in Šid and its delivery to the domestic market – said the Manager of that factory Nikola Vujačić.

At the presentation of business results and development plans of Novi Sad-based company "Victoria Group", a part of which is the oil factory in Šid, Vujačić pointed out that the construction of the first unit for production of bio-diesel would be completed soon and that its capacity would amount to 10,000 tons a year.

- That fuel, which is produced from pleaceous plants, will respond to the “euro 5” standard by the quality, and its price will depend on the situation on the market, but 1 liter of this fuel should not be more expensive than 1 liter of diesel "D2" - said Vujačić.

Besides, company "Victoria Group" plans to start construction of factory of isolates with 95% of soybean protein in 2007. This product is used in production of food for children and for pharmaceutical, meat packing and chemical industry.
