Miodrag Kostic wants Croatian Plancic vinery
As the unofficial sources communicate, the Tikves vinery and businessman Miodrag Kostic are interested for Croatian vinery Plancic takeover.
Croatia Lloyd has recently initiated sale of the Plancic
vinery where it has 51% stake.
The decision on sale was expected to some point after the news that Croatia
osiguranje is shutting down hutting Croatia Lloyd. The re-insurer has had a
majority stake at the vinery since 2009 when they increased capital with KN 7,5
m at the vinery set up by Antun Plancic.
A year later, Plancic got concession for the state-owned land. He was planning to plant the biggest vineyard of all Mediterranean islands and then crisis emerged. Last year, Croatia Lloyd appointed a financier Tomislav Tukic from Split a new head instead of Plancic.
The vinery did not function at that moment either because Croatia osiguranje, in the sales process, was not ready to invest in new vineyards.
