Belgrade’s airport had profit of 7m EUR in 2006

In 2006, Belgrade’s airport "Nikola Tesla" had profit in amount of nearly 7m EUR, which is 14% more than in the same period in 2005.

The number of flights in 2006 increased by 13%, the number of passengers increased by 9% and the transportation of goods increased by 3% in comparison with the previous year. The services of the Belgrade airport were used by 2,222,445 passengers last year and 42,360 flights took place.

The achieved results say that, according to the number of the flights and passengers that used the services of the Belgrade airport last year, the record has been set for the period of the previous 16 years.
