Russian RDZ International signs contract with CIP totaling EUR 1 mil
Representatives of the Russian RDZ International and the Institute for Traffic CIP have signed today in Belgrade the contract totaling around EUR 1 mil for the implementation of the project-research works and the preparation of technical documentation for the Belgrade-Bar railroad rehabilitation at the Resnik-Valjevo section.
It is the Annex 4 of the contract on the implementation of the Russian loan of USD 800 mil for Serbian railways and which comprises rehabilitation of the entire Bar railroad through Serbia, RDZ International, which will implement railway projects in Serbia, announced.
The General Manager of the Traffic Institute CIP, Milutin Ignjatovic, said for Tanjug that today CIP contracted the first Resnik-Valjevo section, 77 km long and announced that by March project-research works will end and documentation will be submitted.
Ignjatovic added that the value of the contract is around one million euros and that in the next period the Russian company will contract with CIP when it comes to documentation preparation for other sections of the Belgrade-Bar railroad as well.
CIP will work on designing the Resnik-Valjevo section which is a part of the international transport Corridor 11.
As RDZ International announced, signing of the suitable Annex 4 was planned for the end of 2015 after finishing project works and technical control.
The contract on works implementation on the construction of the railway infrastructure in Serbia was signed within the agreement between the Government of the Russian Federation and the Government of Serbia for the Russian state-owned export loan totaling USD 800 mil and the total value with the stake in Serbia will total USD 941 mil, it was announced.
