Foreign investments in Serbia total EUR 700 mil in the first seven months 2014
According to preliminary data, in the first seven months in 2014, net foreign
direct investments in Serbia, the National Bank of Serbia (NBS) announced today.
- They mainly went to processing industry and trade - Snezna Vilaret, Deputy of the General Manager
of the NBS Directorate for economic researches and statistics.
During the presentation of the NBS inflation report, she said that NBS forecast for this year is that foreign direct investments will total EUR 12 billion which is “consistent to a billion euros which was shown in the previous inflation reports due to methodology change".
In 2013, direct foreign investments in Serbia totaled some EUR 700 mil.
