Police investigates privatization of Oil Industry of Serbia
The special investigation team will investigate all the facts and circumstances with respect to the privatization of the Oil Industry of Serbia, the Bureau for media relations of the Ministry of Internal Affairs announced.
As it was states, the minister of internal affairs, Nebojsa Stefanovic, set up
the team.
NIS went private in 2008 with Russian Gazprom Neft acquiring majority stake of 51% in the company.
The majority stake was sold at EUR 400 mil and the Russian partner committed to pour EUR 500 mil in modernization of the Refinery of Pancevo which was done within deadline.
