The Danube Cruise to Djerdap

The Danube connects Serbia to many EU countries, including some of the wealthiest. On the international tourism fairs, the Danube countries present themselves, in addition to the national stands, at the Danube countries joint stand. After years of stagnation, tourism on the Danube in Serbia is experiencing a renaissance.
High school students used to go on an excursion by a hydrobus from Belgrade to Kladovo. That was almost 30 years ago. Then we have forgotten the Danube, and in its beauty have continued to enjoy foreign tourists on foreign ships. This year, domestic tourists will sail again on the Danube, every weekend until the end of the summer. The first trip gathered all the world's travelers.
- I've visited a lot of countries. Recently, I've made a list on my friends' request. I have visited seventy countries, but Serbia will always be in the middle of my heart - says Milan Rakocevic.
Nada Pilipović recommends every person to come and enjoy it.
- It has never been this beautiful. New ethno-villages have been built, as this one by Mr. Zika and I think that everyone here, loves it and they all say that they will come back - says Slobodan Micic from the Travel agency "Kon Tiki". During a three-day tourist boat tour, tourists can visit the fortress of Ram, and Golubačka and Smederevo fortresses. Also, the tour includes Lepenski Vir, Viminacijum, Rajacke pimnice, Captain Misa hill.
- The interest for the next weekend is very big, so we have already sold out the tickets, and August, 8th and 15th are widely sold already. I think the ship will work at full capacity the whole summer - says Mile Adzic, director of "HTP beach."
Throughout the course of the Danube, the river is the widest in Serbia and in Golubac, almost four kilometers. Within Djerdap gorge, it is the narrowest, but the maximum depth was measured there - 90 meters.
The Danube flows through ten countries, but it is the most beautiful in Serbia. All foreign tourists get assured into this once they sail from Germany to the Black Sea, and we have always known this.
