Pricelists on mobile phone – National Association of Consumers prepares new project that will make shopping easier
Already next week, the citizens of Serbia will be able to get comparable prices of products that are most often in the basket of commodities, as well as some other very important information on the market, via SMS.
This is unique "Info service", which should be officially launched in Serbia on March 15, the world's Day of Consumers, when the National Organization of Consumers of Serbia (NOPS) plans to forward first such message to the buyers.
Goran Papović, a member of the National Organization of Consumers of Serbia and the President of the Information Board, points out that this organization will inform, educate and, in some special situations, warn citizens, once or twice a week, via mobile operators.
The Organization will be sending information on new products, as well as on attested articles, so that the consumers will be able to get the real picture of the offer on the market. There will, most probably, be some alarming situations when the information will be sent daily.
As far as comparable prices are concerned, the buyers will need to type the name of the certain product, for example, ham or fresh meat, to get the prices of that product in several leading hypermarkets "Maxi", "Tempo", "Rodić", "Mercator", "Metro".
