Telenor expands its 3G network
In order to achieve this, it is necessary to apply technological neutrality as stipulated by the Law on Electronic Communications.
- The Serbian government did an excellent job when it comes to the legal framework for telecommunications. The focus should remain on the maintenance of a stable, foreseeable and transparent environment. We welcome the application of technological neutrality that will greatly benefit our users in terms of coverage and the availability of high-quality services in both urban and rural areas - said Ove Fredheim, the CEO of Telenor Serbia.
Technological neutrality is stipulated by the Law on Electronic Communications, and all countries in the region, except Albania, have introduced this regulation principle, thus making it possible to render services of higher quality and use the spectrum more efficiently since it is a limited natural resource, Telenor said in a release.
