Slovak Eltec Petrol", one of the leading regional ESCO companies (Energy Service Company), offers Serbia public – private partnership in renewable energy sources and advanced solutions for energy and water savings which, as they claim, can be higher than 50%.

A co-owner of the company, Damjan Mulej said for Tanjug that Eltec Petrol wants to expand cooperation in Serbia reminding that the company has been implementing projects of contracting energy services in public and service sectors as well as industry.

Eltec provides complete efficient energy exploitation solutions in planning, rehabilitation and facility management.

Mulej said it refers to distance energy management, water supplying systems, efficient lightning and facility energy management.

The company in Serbia has most of the contracts signed with partners in distance energy field i.e. heating plant for heating optimization, he said, adding that there is still no cooperation when it comes to facilities but that some changes in Serbian legislation are needed here.

- The most important is to enable that signing of the contract of that type for local self-governance does not imply additional debt – he outlined.

As he said, decrease in primary fuel costs basically pays off the contract so it should not be treated as indebtness.

According to him, without facilities reconstruction, between 10 and 30% of heating energy can be saves and after changes even more than 50%.

The company signs a contract for a period of 10-15 years mainly during which it will operate a system thus generating huge energy savings.

According to him, the most important is to decrease electricity consumption per square meter and systems are connected with the control systems of Eltec Petrol in Bled.

Mulej said that, for instance, in Kranj, in one municipal building, entire heating and cooling system combined with heating pumps was replaced and that photo voltage electric power plant was built on the roof.

He said that heating pumps are used for heating and cooling in sea areas where they use sea water for operations

Speaking about water supplying, he said it is the most important to decrease losses on network, from exploitation place to end consumer since systems lose 30 - 50% of water on the average.

In 2011, Eltec Mulej joined Slovak Petrol grupa so that it would get a strong partner in energy field.

Eltec Petrol cooperates with a number of heating plants in Serbia- Belgrade, Novi Sad, Nis, Sombor, Zrenjanin, Sabac, Kraljevo, etc.
