Sitip to pour EUR 12 mil in synthetic fibres production - The City of Zrenjanin and Italian company sign contract on investing
The mayor of Zrenjanin, Cedomir Janjic and the General Manager of the Italian company, Stip, Giancarlo Pecoli signed yesterday at the City house the contract on investing which implies that foreign investors in the existing industrial zone, Severozapad – Elemir, should build production departments, the city website reported.
Pecoli announced that Berman-based plant, operating in production of synthetic and elastic fibers, will invest EUR 12 mil into Zrenjanin-based departments and announced that the plant, if everything goes in line with the plan, it will start production in late 2015.
He pointed out that representatives of Sitip visited Zrenjanin for the first time in January and that here they found great support and fast reaction of the local self-governance.
Sitip with headquarters and central sections in Bergamo will build sections in Zrenjanin on an area of more than 10 hectares, behind Gece company, towards Elemir.
