''Deloitte'' opened a competition for 50 fastest growing technology companies
- ''Technology Fast 50'' aims to rank technology companies with the fastest income growth in Central Europe in the last five years (2009 – 2013). To be on two ''Deloitte's'' lists , 50 fastest growing (Fast 50) and Rising stars, companies have to make annual profit of more than EUR 50,000 for the first list and EUR 30,000 for the second. Companies are ranked according to its five-year or three-year income growth rate.
Serbian company ''Bitgear Wireless Design Services'', which deals with electronics, was positioned at high second place on the list of fast growing technology companies in Central Europe, making a five-year income growth of 1872 %.
Companies from technology sectors will apply themselves for the competition, and 50 best among them will be ranked according to average growth of income during last five years, which proves their continuous and fast growth.
Two special categories in the competition are: ''Rising Stars'' - young companies with fast growth operating less than five years, where the best are ranked according to the average income growth in previous three years, and ''Big Five'' – a category where only those whose incomes in 2013 were higher than EUR 25 million belong.
Process of registration finishes 17 July 2014, and rank lists will be issued in October 2014.
