VUCIC: We target economy boost, not salary cuts
(Aleksandar Vucic)
Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic has stated that Serbia will strive to ensure economic growth and keep the current fiscal policy measures. Serbia will continue to pursue such policy although certain neighboring countries opt for salary and pension cuts because of floods, said the prime minister.
- We will try to utilize people's energy, which is often more important than money, to achieve good results - Vucic told a press conference after a talk with EBRD President Suma Chakrabarti.
As he noted, between 17 and 18 million euro have so far been raised for emergency aid to Serbia.
