Serbian companies have started to offer cooperation to Croatian partners in field of production and modernization of military technology, but Croatian party has not replied yet.

The talks on that subject started in April 2005, during the visit of Croatian delegation - which consisted of ambassador Tonči Stanišić and military attache Smiljan Čubelić - to Valjevo-based "Krušik". Josip Bucić, the manager of "Đura Đaković" from Slavonski Brod, where tanks T-84 used to be produced, points out that there are possibility of military cooperation with the companies from SCG, but it is unlikely that it is going to happen.

The only cooperation "Đaković" realized with some of the companies from Serbia was with "Prva petoletka" on the maintenance of hydraulics system for fire management on tank M-84. That cooperation was at low financial level and did not include anything but the help in the system maintenance, says Bucić who confirmed that there were plans for modernization of tank M-84.
