(Nebojsa Stefanovic)

Serbian Parliament Speaker Nebojsa Stefanovic said Sunday that the state would offer a certain set of different incentives, tax reliefs and subsidies to investors world wide within the next two years in a bid to reduce the unemployment rate.

He said in a talk with businessmen from the Rasina Region in the Regional Chamber of Commerce that it was also important that local self-governments be ready to clearly state what they had to offer.

- We want to finish the adoption of 21 laws by the end of this summer, including the Labor Law, the Privatization Law, the Bankruptcy Law.... and our key goal in the next two years is to make an offer that will allow for the employment of a large number of people in a sustainable manner - Stefanovic pointed out.

- We must be business-oriented - Stefanovic said and sent out a message to businessmen to get ready for new opportunities.

As he explained, Serbia needs people who know how to write projects because we won't be able to get grants from various funds without them.
