Company "Louis Berger" selected for project manager for construction of new bridge near Ada Ciganlija

American company "Louis Berger" (www.louisberger.com) has been selected for the project manager for construction of the bridge across the Sava river.

The experts from this company will manage the works in the future, that is, they will supervise the elaboration of the main project, construction of access junctions and new bridge.

First of all, the tender will be announced for the architect and the contractor. As far as bridge is concerned, the preliminary project has been finished and revised and it has been elaborated by Maribor-based company "Ponting". According to the preliminary solution, the construction of the bridge will cost 90m EUR.

The ASsembly of City of Belgrade has already obtained favorable credit from the European Bank for Rehabilitation and Development. City authorities planned to provide 85m EUR for the construction of the bridge, 65m EUR for access roads, 7.5m EUR for drawing up of the plans and 3.6m EUR for technical supervision and the management of the entire program.
