"Streit Nova" opens auto components plant in Stara Pazova

First Deputy Prime Minister Aleksandar Vučić opened Streit Nova`s auto components factory in Stara Pazova yesterday. The plant lies in the Volarevo polje industrial zone on a 3 hectare plot. The factory building covers some 6,000 m2, with another 2,000 m2 of offices.

At present 135 factory workers are engaged, but the scope of production and number of employees are expected to increase.

The value of the investment is a little over EUR 4 million, reports Sremska Televizija.

Vučić thanked the French company for its investment, observing that Stara Pazova is among the five best municipalities in Serbia with the highest employment rate and lowest unemployment.

Managing director of the plant Rene Barkolone expressed his deep satisfaction with the investment in Stara Pazova, and his hope of developing it and extending its employment in Serbia. He praised the knowledge, diligence, commitment and competence of our workers.

All the required paperwork and permits were ready in three months, showing the municipality`s commitment to creating a favourable investment environment, said Stara Pazova`s mayor Đorđe Radinović, adding that in Germany this would have taken a year.
